Braixen by FoxEmbersCreationsI first stumbled across this artist on Etsy by their large 18-inch shiny Braixen plush. At the time, it was the best Braixen plush I had seen, and I knew I wanted one. However, I prefer Braixen's regular colors and I wanted something a little smaller, so I got in contact for a custom order. I feel awful, because I think I was a horrible commissioner about this plush. She was perfect initially, except for her eyes. They were up too high on her face, the shape looked wonky, and the pupils seemed too far apart. The artist fixed them, but they still ended up too high on her face and looking weird. The artist had to redo the eyes three times, which I honestly feel terrible about, but I am very pleased with the outcome. I love my Braixen plush! Her stick isn't removable, but that's fine - designing a pocket mechanism seems daunting to me. Despite the mix up with the eyes, and the nonremovable stick, she is still one of the best Braixen plush I have ever seen! Much better than the official ones.

Teddy Braixen by AvaniiFor the longest time, I wanted to commission Avanii for a realistic Furret. I dreamt of it for years. And when I was finally able to commission her, I saw that she had previously made a teddy fox and a teddy cat, which inspired me. I knew I needed her to make my second precious partner for me. And honestly... I am so freaking glad that I did. I initially went in for the realistic Furret plush, but my teddy Braixen is my absolute favorite. Her face, her eyes, her ears... they are all so lovely. The details are amazing. Her tail and ear fluff were this natural tan color and Avanii highlighted them with red. Her "skirt" is made of longer pile yellow and black furs. Her tail even has a little pocket for her stick! And both her stick and her right paw have magnets so she can either be holding her stick or have it resting in her tail pocket. This Braixen is literally my favorite plush in my Fennekin line collection. I love her, I love posing her, I love gently brushing her fur... She is absolutely gorgeous and I am so glad I commissioned her. Thank you, Avanii!

Braixen Print by TeaFoxIllustrationsThis is not really a custom since it is a print, but the art was original, so I decided to put it in the custom category. My significant other got me this print and the frame for my birthday. I absolutely love TeaFoxIllustrations. She does a lot of work regarding Japanese folklore, specifically kitsune, and works with the traditional mediums of tea and inks. I currently have three different prints from her because I love her work and her style so much. I'm not exactly sure what the Braixen is holding, but it fits. And I love the addition of the kitsune-bi/will-o-wisps. Gorgeous art, I highly recommend buying from TeaFoxIllustrations!
