Takara Tomy Furret KeychainThis figure also has some sentimental value. This was my first win off of Yahoo! Japan. Not me physically though; I paid a person-middleman, not a service-middleman, to bid for me. Now I use a service-middleman to bid myself, if that makes sense? And then the MIP Takara Tomy Furret Keychain just fell into my lap when I found it for sale on PKMNcollectors!

Bandai Furret KidAnother one of my very first purchases on the PKMNcollectors community! At the time I think I thought Furret kids were pretty uncommon so I snatched the first one that I saw. But now I see them popping up all over the place! Thankfully mine is in very good condition so I don't have to buy another one!

Bandai Furret Clear KidThis figure... I never thought I would obtain. I had been seeing someone on PKMNcollectors looking for one for ages, so I didn't think it would happen. But then one of my Facebook friends messaged me with an auction, it was listed as Pikachu instead of Furret, and I messaged the seller asking if I could BIN. I am still in shock that he allowed me and that this figure is now in my possession.

Furret Toy CarI never thought I would obtain this weird thing either! I still have no idea what it is from. Its just... what even is this? But I made a wants post on PKMNcollectors with this and I'm surprised that within the first couple hours of posting, someone came forward with one for me for a reasonable price! I love the generosity of other collectors.

Furret Full Color Stadium FigureOne of my Pokemon-collecting Facebook friends asked me what things I was looking for so she could keep an eye out, and then not long after she said her middleman had this Furret figure for sale and that it was still in its packaging! Obviously I snatched him up right away. I am so happy to have so many people looking out for me and my collection.
|
Chibi Pokehouse DX Furret FigureI had absolutely no idea what this figure was when I obtained my first one. I realize now that the first one I obtained was so extremely overpriced - I probably paid five times more than its actual value. But I didn't know what it was so I jumped on the offer. I recently learned that these tiny figures are the characters from a Pokemon playset house!

Sentret and Furret ZukanI finally updated the pictures! The first Sentret/Furret zukan that I bought did not come with pegs. While I was disappointed, I was still happy to have one because they are uncommon. So I made my own pegs by cutting and carving matchsticks and supergluing them together. It was... an experience, but they're actually pretty awesome! I'm proud of myself. Then when another Sentret/Furret zukan popped up on Yahoo!Japan with its pegs, I immediately jumped into the biding war. I probably paid about double what I paid for my first zukan for this zukan, but I am just so happy to have a Furret zukan with its pegs! My third and last zukan, the blue one, I got from someone on PKMNcollectors. It has the original figures and pegs, but the base is not the original base. All of my zukan are different in their own way, and its very eclectic!

Sentret and Furret Metal CharmsThe first Furret charm that I bought was a single charm on its own, and I realized later that I overpaid. I seem to do that a lot. Then a MIP set of charms showed up for cheaper than what I paid for my single charm, so I immediately bought them. These were the re-release charms. And then much later I found the original Johto release charms, so I bought those too!

Metal Furret Swing KeychainAfter years of looking and making wants posts on PKMNcollectors, I have finally acquired a metal Furret swing keychain!! I am literally so happy that I could cry ;_; I have been posting, and begging and offering up my soul in exchange for one of these for so long. Finally, finally, finally, someone came forward with theirs. They had bought it for their own collection, but they saw how much I wanted it and offered it to me. I cannot thank that person enough!! I'm fairly certain I overpaid it. I know some variations of the metal swing keychains can sell for $80, but the last time someone sold a Furret swing keychain on PKMNcollectors in 2014, it sold for $15. I paid roughly three and a half times that... However, I was beginning to think that I would never obtain this swing keychain, and so I am perfectly okay with overpaying in this instance! At least I have the damn thing now!

Dutch Metal Furret CoinsI'd lost out on two instances of these coins before I got this one. I had been so discouraged that I made a wants post on PKMNcollectors for one, and a kind person came forward and said they had the coins somewhere in their basement. Unfortunately, the Furret coin was damaged and lost its plastic covering, but I took it anyway. I tried cleaning some of the gunk off of the sticker, but it started to smudge the lines, so I stopped. I ended up coating the sticker side in clear nail polish to "replace" the lost plastic coating. Since that one was damaged, another kind collector helped me get three other Furret coins from a Dutch website called Marktplaats. I was hoping they would be in mint condition, but they were only 1.40EUR each, so they're in pretty used condition. One had the plastic peeling up, so I superglued it down. The top two were in pretty good shape, though. Yeah, there are some stains on the stickers but at least the plastic is intact!

Pokemon Black and White DiceThis dice was an adventure to find. When I was looking for it, someone linked me to the complete set that was on sale on Amazon Japan. This set of dice was the first thing I ever purchased through a shopping service. I made some mistakes along the way in regards to shipping but they got to me okay. And then I was able to sell off the extra dice to pay myself back! I wanted to keep this dumb dice in its packaging, but the Furret side was on the bottom against the box. I'm a bit bitter about that.

Pokemon Time Furret Figure StrapI actually have two of these straps! One I kept in its packaging to put on display, and the other I took out to put on my purse, and then I kept the bookmark-back-side to also put on display with my flats! I'm still tempted to get a third one to hang from my 3DS, but I have more important wants at this point. Maybe someday!
|
Pokemon Time Furret Candy TinI hate these blind packaged tins so much. I didn't want to buy a crap ton of them, so I sharked around on the Internet constantly after their release to find someone selling the Furret tins. I ordered my first one from PokeVault, and the other one came from someone on PKMNcollectors. I also tried the candy inside of them, and my god they're disgusting.
|
Pokemon Time Furret PenI'm still pissed about this promo, but of course my little collector's heart made me buy every single thing with a Furret on it, and that includes the pen! I love the pattern they used for Furret so much. I've kept my pen in its original packaging, but now I kind of want to get a second one that I can take out and use at school!

Pokemon Time Nintendo 3DS CaseI have both the regular 3DS and 3DS LL cases for these. I originally only bought the regular 3DS case to put on my 3DS, but then I later realized that I really needed one to keep in-package to display with my collection. And I figured that I wouldn't be tempted to use a 3DS LL case considering I don't have a 3DS LL to use it on! And so the larger one just sits with my collection.

Pokemon Time Furret Hand TowelThis hand towel is cute AF and extremely hard to display? I originally had it laying on my shelf with a few figures on it, but it was extremely hard to see with the display. When I got my cool birdcage shelf, I realized I could take some safety pins and some string and hang it up in the back so it could be seen better! Although I had to take a photo with the towel hanging up because I didn't want to cut the string to take it down and then have to put it back up again.

Pokemon Time 2015 Schedule PlannerFor some reason, when I was first buying my Pokemon Time Furret items, I never thought of buying the planner, which does have a Furret on it! So when I remembered that there was another item that I needed, Brian at PokeVault came to my rescue! He has a lot of the Pokemon Time items from 2014 still, and thankfully he still had the planner. My sister asked me if I was going to use it, and she was confused when I told her no. This thing is going to stay sealed in its package and on display in my Furret collection!

Pokemon Center 2015 Coffee Cookie Collector Tin
I stumbled across this cute cookie tin on PokeVault during one of my usual skims for new Furret items. Brian only had one at the time so I immediately scooped it up! The tin is actually really cute and it features some Pokemon other than Furret too! The cookies inside are coffee cookies and they're actually really good. There's only about 16 cookies inside so I've been trying to pace myself when eating them. There are even Furret on the cookie wrappers so I've been saving those too....

Pokemon With You 2016 T-ShirtFurret is not often included in Pokemon Center promotions, so boy was I excited when it was a part of this one! I kind of see why, though. They needed a long bodied, twisty Pokemon for the "S." The majority of the long bodied, twisty Pokemon are fish Pokemon (Gyarados, Huntail, Gorebyss, et cetera) which wouldn't really worth for this theme. Yeah, there are water-type Pokemon watering the flowers, but a fish shouldn't be out of water. With that said, I am really glad they decided to use Furret. Furret doesn't get enough love! Its likely I will never wear this shirt, or even take it out of the plastic. The top photo is the one I took of my actual shirt, still in the plastic. And the bottom photo is from the Japanese Pokemon website, showing what the shirt looks like unfolded. Aside from Furret, I am also particularly fond of Ampharos in this design. They gave him a really cute expression.

Pokemon With You 2016 Dice BagFurret is not often included in Pokemon Center promotions, so boy was I excited when it was a part of this one! This little pouch was advertised as a dice bag - this is actually a pretty big pouch, and I don't know why one person would have this many dice? Is it a Japanese thing to have a ton of dice? Maybe some Japanese game involving a large amount of dice? I don't know. But its a really cute pouch! I'm just likely to never actually take it out of the plastic.

Pokemon With You 2016 HandkerchiefFurret is not often included in Pokemon Center promotions, so boy was I excited when it was a part of this one! This handkerchief is so cute! It seems kind of odd, I know the Pokemon Center sells a lot of hand towels, those seem to be a thing in Japan, but do the Japanese carry around handkerchiefs too? That's super classy. I don't think anyone on this side of the Pacific really carries around handkerchiefs anymore. Keep being cool, Japan! But anyway, I'm not really sure how to display this. Hm.

Pokemon With You 2016 Memo PadFurret is not often included in Pokemon Center promotions, so boy was I excited when it was a part of this one! And, okay, you're probably thinking, "But there's no Furret on this?" That's what I was told too, but then I saw that the Japanese Pokemon website posted photos of what is inside the memo pad. And, lo and behold, there are Furrets on the inside! I want my memo pad to stay as minty fresh as possible and I am keeping it in the plastic. So, I took the photos from the Japanese Pokemon website to show off the inside! And Furret is actually featured quite a bit on the inside. Good choice, Pokemon Center!

Pokemon Center M Line Art Pattern Phone CaseThis phone case makes me so mad!! When I first saw the stock art for it, I decided to look at it very closely just incase there happened to be a Furret on it. I really didn't think there would be. Lo and behold, there is a Furret on the bottom in the middle. Furret is in a really inconvenient spot on the case, and because of that it is covered by the sticker on the lower left of the packaging. I've also pictured the stock image for the case so the Furret can be seen. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to tell this is a Furret item!! For a split second I was almost tempted to use this on my iPhone 6, but I actually really hate the cases that you have to flip open to get to the phone inside. Plus, I really do prefer to keep my things nice and minty.

Furret Soccer-Themed Johto NotepadI'm so glad I was able to cross this off of my wants list! One of my collector friends retired from collecting and purged the majority of her collection. She offered me this little notebook I had been looking for, so obviously I took it off of her hands! This art is pretty cute. The Furret is in one of its more unique poses, I've only ever seen the same pose on one of the stickers from the Pokemon Collector's Sticker Book Johto Edition (2010) book! Its a very cute little notepad, but I wish Furret was also featured on the paper pages inside. Sadly, he is not.

Japanese Patterns 2016 "Bows" NotebookThis notebook was actually really annoying to get. The official stock art for this notebook didn't have a Furret on it, so I was uncertain that it would at all. I had a friend get a hold of her middleman (a person, instead of a shopping service like FromJapan) for me to look over the items to make sure they had a Furret on them. They managed to get me this notebook and the clearfile, but the towel they got did not have a Furret on it. Unfortunately, the notebook only has one Furret on the back. I would have preferred the Furret on the front cover, but I guess I am lucky this one had Furret at all.

Unofficial Furret NecklacePulsefireKitten sent me this Furret necklace as a freebie with my plush, as an apology for my commission taking so long. The art appears to be from the Heartgold & SoulSilver set of TCG. I think I am going to keep the necklace in the little baggie, but not only for the sake of its condition. I don't generally wear jewelry of any kind - no necklaces, bracelets, rings. That's too much effort for me. And since I know I'm not going to wear it, I might as well just keep it in the bag to display, you know?
|
Unofficial Metal Furret CoinI got this metal Furret coin on one of the Pokemon Facebook groups. They said the coins were unofficial. They appear to be some kind of coin for TCG, but I'm not entirely sure. Perhaps for TFG? Not sure. Its still a cute little thing to have in my collection, and I am pleased that they color they picked for the background is blue. Furret always looks good with blue!

Unofficial Furret "Ootachi!" DoujinshiI bought this without really knowing what it was because it was very cheap. When I found out that it was a doujinshi, I kind of freaked out. There's been a Furret doujinshi listed on eBay for months that is inappropriate -- so I was thinking to myself, did I accidentally buy Furret porn?! I kind of made myself sick thinking about it. So I searched high and low on the internet, trying to see what this little doujinshi was rated. Thankfully the websites that I found rated it as appropriate for everyone. I've never been so relieved in my life. It was sent to me in this nice little plastic casing, and I've been hesitant to take it out to look through it, because it will stay so minty in the plastic. So, for now, its staying in the plastic.
